Default hard brakes after steering and ignition swap

Hey guys I have a problem with my car. It was broken into about a month ago and the steering column was broken and the ignition went to ****. I had a shop fix the steering wheel, column, and ignition. I just recieved the car back today and the brakes are really hard to press. It feels kind of like when you don't have the ignition on and you try to press the brakes and the pressure builds up. Did the shop mess up on my ignition or is there something else that's wrong with my brake system? Thanks.

Sounds like the barke booster is not working. pop the hood and make sure the vacume lines are hooked up. One might have been nocked loose or is not hooked up

autozone, or any parts store. if not, then the dealer. hell even a junk yard. and go bitch slap the shop for not mentioning something like that. they should have known. i am sure they drove your car a little but to make sure it was working ok. like out of the service bay.
