Hard brake line problem.
I have a ’95 del sol that was swapped before I bought it with a b18c1. I took the car to the shop across the street from where I work to have some things looked at and a compression test. One of the things I wanted looked at was the hard break line from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve there is about 3 feet of line all waded up from the valve all twisted around and balled up by the battery. Apparently this was done to facilitate the CAI that was added. They said the line is supposed to be this long to cool the brake fluid.
I there need for the line to be that long or can I shorten it with out risk of overheating the fluid? I was planning on upgrading the fluid to some Motul in the very near future.
Have any of you shortened this line or rerouted? Sorry no pics ill try and take some when I get home.

wtf?
if you're referring to the hardline on the firewall, this shouldn't have anything to do with a CAI.
pics or more explination please.

Re: Hard brake line problem. (poison)
i dint think that it would either but thats what the shop said had "looked like the reason they had bent it" but if its against the firewall it should not interfear at all also got resaults from compresion test about 140 - 130 across the board having friend bring compresion gauge over so we can double check.
