Half my brakes get hot?? turbo civic EK
I have a 99 turbo civic, i was doin my brakes and found my pass front caliper was bad and leaking, after that, when i drive, my driver side front gets HOT! and my passenger side doesnt, like my wheel and lugs would burn your *** on the left side, and i can touch my other rotor, no problem. What could cause this??? i replaced the other caliper, turned my rotors, put new pads and flushed my fluid, im a tech at HONDA so i used all oem parts and fluid, but it has me stumped??

Sometimes the flex-lines collapse internally and cause this too. If you swap the caliper and it still does it, you probably want to replace the rubber line.

i bet your caliper slides are sticking. did you grease them when you put the new one on?
and when you flushed the fluid did you bleed the air out of the lines?
also by "tech at honda" do you mean you work at the dealership (just curious)?
