Had some fun at the dyno with some buddies

hey guys.

Well.... i wanted to play on the dyno. My friend got 10 hours from a shop that was giving dyno time away to cars racing that weekend. Well he won his bracket, and we went last night. Intresting.

self ported y8 intake manifold
b18c tb
exospeed re-grounded camshaft
stock valves/rets
cosmtic head gasket
srp pistons
eagle-beams
balanced crank
my header(4-2-1) mustang 3" colector,
my exhaust, summit racing mild steel strieght pipe, 3" no cat, no resonators, apex'i n1 style muffler
distrubtor king dizzy
msd 6al + coil
venom injectors
walboro fuel pump
aem fuel rail, fpr, fuel filter
ex tranny

only 136who

I think my "kink" is the header, i gotta get some more flow threw that, hope exospeed can help with that as well. btw it's an automatic with a tourqe convertor

ohh yea, obd1, using turbo edit, self built rom.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. An All motor y7 making close to 140 at the wheels is CRAZY IMHO.

EDIT: What CR are you running? Still the 9.4 or what?

yeah, thats pretty damn good for an N/A non-vtec SOHC. the highest N/A Y8 and Z6 numbers i see on this site are around 120-125, but i dont think they're as built as you.

i think the automatic took a little more hp then i thought, a lot of people say 20-25%, thats silly, but it looks like around 8%.. i need some better discs on the tranny

WHats your torque #'s...IMO those are great numbers for the y7......

im thinking those dyno numbers are BS. if the dumbass doesn't know how to take off a wheel, how the hell could he build a motor like that? even if that motor was built by somebody else, i dont think it would be putting out those numbers.
