What kind of motor?
What other kinds of mods? ( if other than bolt ons)
Any Check engine lights.

Bogging can be from a number of things ranging from ignition, fuel system, to 02 or map sensor problems.

d15b vtec... just i/h/e working on turbo setup but i'm trying to get everything running perfect before i boost.

no cel's only when i unplugged the iacv to adjust idle which is normal but it went off once i put it back on. i haven't messed with the fuel system any or ignition just the idle...

and it picked up great before i adjusted it cause i had some guy come up on my *** really quick on the high way and i had to get goin and it pulled hard. i don't know what the deal is

They say to adjust the idle, you disconnect the IACV plug, set it to 400rpm, then reconnect it and reset the ecu. The only thing the idle adj screw being open too far would do is add a miniscule increase in air through the TB. You should check your TPS voltage and FITV, those could be issues too.

i adjusted it and then went to faq and found that writeup on "properly" adjusting it.... ya know turning all electrical off adn then idling for 1 min at and then turn on full electical power and idle for another minute... but no matter what... even if i open the screw all the way my idle still drops to like 250-300 after it runs for a bit... the first 2 or 3 minutes it's great at ~800 and then it just drops

also have this horroble rattling noise coming from the cat... i jacked the car up today and it's not hitting anything i think the rattle is coming from inside the cat

bang on your cat with your hand pretty hard, see if it rattles, sounds like it's broken apart in there. this can cause your low performance

thats what it is man i know it... cause it's rattling in there and i know it's clogged. it's puttin alot of backpressure on my motor. so much that it's spitting it out of where the downpipe and cat meet... i'm not driving the car. i have to drive with straight headers to the muffler shop in the morning to get it fixed
