h4 6k hid kit in a projector housing from ebay?
 

has anyone tried this set up...instead of having a to retrofit bi/xenon...just buy a ek projector housing and hid kit?...if anyone has pics or done this plz let me know i am curious

I dont think the projectors on ebay are h4 so you wouldnt use a h4 kit but anyways, I have heard that these projectors are setup/designed for halogen only and will produce shitty light output/cut off if used with hids. Just what i heard.

The best solution is to get the projector housing that you like best, and take out the projectors in there (put in oven to loosen glue), they buy some audi, bmw, etc headlights w/hid projectors and do the same with them and switch the projectors and then they will look perfect. You might have to do a little bit of work to make them fit, but some of them swap right over, you could probably find out more in the appearances & cosmetics forum or on a search.

cool just wondering...and thanks for the info...so i can just buy some projector to retrofit? and use the hids i have in them??
