....help me! hey guys....i need ur help i recently bought a eg hatch with a H23a non VTEC engine in it and the guy couldn't get it to pass smog because of vacuum lines (duh!) bout anyways....i am planning on taking the engine out and buying a whole new engine wiring harness because the swap was done like **** and i want to redo the whole thing....does anyone know what harness is best i am thinking to just use the engine harness for that engine...but here is the thing the engine is in a Si hatch that is wired for VTEC can I use that wiring harness on my H23a non VTEC engine?

I have never dealt with this problem myself but in experience from what I know its best to use the cars engine harness. Some wires just end up not bieng used. And your suppost to use the ECU for the H23.

yes you can use the harness. check around in the hybrid for f-series into hatch. like f22b2. And for cross reference, check in the threads for prelude si conversion to h22. that will give you an idea of where things need to be shortened up for your harness. GL.

my harness is made from cx, h23, and h22 harnesses, dont remember what was used from what though
