well this is about were i am at. hopefully ill get the wireing done tonight and swap it in tomorrow.

so my question is for anyone who has done this swap in a obd2 car. i want to keep it obd2. anybody know what sensors needed to be added. the car is already wired for vtec and the knock sensor. but the ckp sensor has a 4 wire plug and the ex harness only has 3. what can i do to get around this. or how do i wire in the 4 wire plug. also i know there is a ckp bypass trick found on ff squad.com but will that work for this swap with the p13, anyone got any answers.

the trick from the website should work, cause what it basicly does, is simulate that the ckp sensor is hooked up. leasts that what i understand from it cause the ckp sensor is only obd2 harnesses/swaps.

nice setup... hope you get the problems fixed but what headers are those? and did you paint them black or did they come that way.

That's the stock cast-iron exhaust manifold painted black. Looks good.

thanks guys, yes its a stock header. the 4-2-1 from the a4. i was lookin for a header that fit directly too the civic exhaust but cant seem to find one. i think i have the wireing figured out. so we will see when i find a 97 -98 p13 ecu. i still need 99-00 fenders for the front conversion too.

p13's werent made in 97 or 98 just in 96 and not even many were made, that ecu is very VERY hard to come by. I had one at one point and sold it for 270 bucks....

i just checked and although they do make the p13 after 96, to use it u must also have the immobilizer wired in to start the car. so yes i guess i am looking for the 96 like u had or the 97 up plus immobilizer

hey man i just took your advice and bought a obd1 jumper harness. did u have to switch any wires @ or just plug this into your dx harness and then into the obd1 p13. i already added the knock and vtec, not running egr so its been deleted

Just plug and play. I 've got a question for you though, what mounts and axel combo did you use? I did same swap in 99 Ek with HaSport Mounts and Hasport Axels and had binding issues.

hasport mounts with 90/93 accord half shaft and 90-93 integra axles with accord passenger spline that goes into trans. u have to make a custom plate to bolt to the block though. ill try to find a picture and post it. before the 2.4 kit it was running on this same setup and no binding issues
