H22A or turbo B16A
I am sorry if someone has asked this question before but...
I have an opporitunity to buy a H22A w/ transmission and ecu. Then I still need to get mounts and axles and everything else for install.
Or
For a while now I have been planning on doing a B16A swap and turboing it.
Can someone give me some information on which is better as a daily driver/reliability?
Which will be more costly now and in the long run?
And which is more fun to drive/makes more hp and torque?
Thanks for any info.

Re: H22A or turbo B16A (Calliefornia)
I'll say this before everyone jumps in with their 2 cents..... everyone has different opinions on which setup is better. I've driven both setups (well, turbo B18A in my DA Integra and numerous H22A Civics & some Integras), and the throttle reponse is much better with the H22.... hell, even the top end also, IMO. But the "coolness" factor of the turbo definetley gets a with the spooling sound and bov sound, if that's all that you care about. But overall, what you need to do is drive both setups and see which one you would like better. Both can end up costing about the same (turbo setup could be more with the kit and extra parts.... all depends), but get what YOU feel will be the best for YOUR car. It's hard giving advice on what to get when the person asking hasn't had a chance to experience both setups, since everyone will have different tastes on which one is better to them. Best bet... find somebody with a similar setup and test drive it.

Well..... when it comes to reliability issues.. when you start modding the H22 or b16 your reliability goes down so its all about what you want. S0 you said power and torque..... when it comes to N/A id go with H22 and lol when it comes to Turbo id also go with h22(but if not built right it will be hella Shitty).. However, h22a has torque and hp but b16's lagg on the torque but once you turbo a b16a than all that torque lagg goes away and the turbo will make sure of it.. So in the Long run id go with h22a but then again thats just me. people will start telling you to go with a b18c or c5 but thats a different story. So go with wut you want m0re

Re: H22A or turbo B16A (Archidictus)
newman pretty much covered it. i think u should go h22 for its big time sleeper potential. i love sleepers. a BOV and intercooler give away the power ur puting down. but hey some people want everybody to know they are making big power. whatever floats ur boat.
