sure it fits, mount kit or weld it in....stiffer springs, depends on who does it...but defiantly more work then b16a or b18c.....

I understand you want the h22, but try the b20vtec. It weighs in a lot less and gives no understeer, plus it will bolt right in. You can make hella more n/a power with the b20/vtec than an h22. Consider it as an option.

Chill out, I was simply stating you could have a more powerful b20 over a stock h22. Just because I don't drag doesn't me I'm a magazine racer.

Re: h22a into a 96 hatch?? (stockcrix1616)
I have a stock B20vtec 4 door teg and my friend with an H22A 2 door teg with only DC headers danks on me. His car is much faster. Now when he races my built B18C1 hatch, then he gets danked on. But the a fully built H22A1 will always make more power than a fully built B20vtec motor. When i say fully built, i mean everything.

drove a JDM b20b in teg, with some stock/bolt ons....puts out about 130hp and 130lbs torque to the wheels, it does feel fast but the h22a is out of tis league....its simply a beast....
