Default H22A or B18C5?

I am in the process of getting my hands on a Del Sol and I was wondering which would be better, the JDM Prelude motor or the JDM Integra type R motor.. Also, how hard would each swap be and would it be possible to mount them with a 6-speed tranny from an S2000? I would like the car to keep all the normal daily driver items, A/C, heat, radio and all that hoopla. Thanks

I've been looking for the past couple of months... I just wanted the opinion of other people. But yet another question: What is a good JDM engine distributer that can be trusted? I know the JDM engine sale is pretty good money and you can get scamed pretty easily.

Impossible, the transmission doesn't bolt up, and you'd need to convert to rwd.

the S tranny would not fit it is very long
but a K20 modded could fit it is a 6 speed
go with the h22

You should go with the d15. jk. I like the h22 because of its torque.

A b18c is much more then h22a, and h22a will yield the best results imo.

s2000 trany hahahahhaha im sorry, but why would you even wanna do that if you could, the tranny that come w/ those motors are specifically geared for that motor. any way its a meant for RWD and would never work. the b18c swap wil be much easier than the h22

speaking of s2000 tranny you might as well buy a custom built 6 speed for the car it woudl cost less

[QUOTE=96coupe]
Search, this question has been asked many times.
[QUOTE]

Many is an understatement

Go with the B18

Swap is easier
Easier to work on a B18 then H22
More aftermarket parts advailible for the B

Also hear that its easier to break an axle with the H22 on a delsol swap or something to that effect

That all depends on how the swap was done.

Dayum... that's a very good question. I'm dying to hear everyone's opinions/beliefs/war stories/etc on why which is better

Seriously, like everyone said already, this question comes up every other week with pages & pages of opinions. Just do a simple search in the EG/Civic forum and you'll find all that you need to know on which is better. But, like I always say, the best way to determine which is better FOR YOU is to drive both setups and go along with what YOU feel is better suited for you particular driving habits.
