Ok so i diched my b20vtec ef9 hatch buld and traded for a unfinished eg6 hatch with an h22a swap.. i just did all the wiring and got the girl running but my question is can i slam her to the ground or do i have to leave her stock high?? i hear you cant lower civics with h22a swaps.. help?

People say you can't lower it cause the way the axels like bend in a weird way causes them to break easier or something, but I had mine slammed haha and never had a problem, you also have to watch for oilpan clearance.

You can lower it a bit, but don't be dumb about it. The oil pan will smash into everything if you lower it too much.

Take a peak under your car and check how much room you have, then decide from there. There are some springs that don't lower very much at all. Tein H.Tech only goes about an inch down, and their S.Tech model is 1.9" front and 1.7" back.

i wouldn't go with springs... get some coilover sleeves like omni or something so you can play with the hieght and get it where you feel is safe...

Why would you want to slam it to the ground? The cons out-weigh the pros. It will look good and maybe handle a little better than stock depending on what you decided to drop it with, but you run the risk of smashing your headers, denting or smashing the oil pan and parking lots with speed bumps will own you. Just a thought. Like andoxviii said, "dont be dumb about it" in other words, dont go stupid low cause you might regret it in the end.

i have a full set of skunk2 coilovers and kyb agx shocks i just wanted to know if i can or cant lower it b4 i install them.
