Default H22 transmission mounting issues. Please help!

Hey guys, I have a h22 turbo in a 93 civic 4dr. My prelude tranny went the other day, so I bought an accord tranny from a 90-93, supposed to be better for turbo hence longer gearing. But anyways I have an hcp mount kit for the motor and the hcp tranny mount does not fit on the accord trans. What can I do to get this tranny mounted in my civic, has anyone done it before?

yeah... sorrie to say it... i dont know much about h22/civic hybrids, but that mount will not bolt up onto the new tranny.

try returning the tranny, saying it was bad or something. then u can pick up another h22 tranny.

Why did you go for a F22 tranny? The shorter the better man, regardless of Forced Induction. Get another H22 tranny.

swap the internals, it looks like they will fit, and you can use the best looking parts.

i had the same problem. i tried switching the case but that messed up my transmission. the case is longer. a 94-97 f22 trans will work, it has the same mounting points as h22
