Default H22 tranny

I am buying a 98 Prelude SH motor with no tranny. I was told that any 5 speed Accord or Prelude tranny would work. Is this true or a bunch of BS. If it is true are there any major difference in the two.

Before you buy this SH motor, what do you play on doing for an intermediate shaft. The ATTS unit is worthless to you in a swap, and the intermediate shaft from a non-SH model will not bolt up. Don't buy the SH H22 unless you have a Prelude with an SH already. Get the regular H22 and everything will be fine.

I learned this the hard way, as did a few others on the board. People have tried to get the block welded, tapped, etc to get the intermediate shaft to bolt up with no luck. Don't get my wrong, they got it to do it, then the block split. Good luck on the H22 swap.
