Default H22 Throttle Body on a Y8...

I'm looking at a skunk manifold with a H22 TB to replace my stock IM and TB. Is it worth getting the h22 TB and will it work just fine w/o any problems? I'm assuming it would and isnt it just a little larger? Next, stupid question but I just want to make sure, the skunk manifolds are for the "z6" but are no problem for the Y8 right? Thanks for the help!

the y8 TB is 56mm while the h22 is 60 mm

the z6 an y8 are basically the same in stock form except the y8 has better flow. aftermarket prbably cures that problem

as far as working depends on placement of sensors and coolant lines or anything else on your TB and the donor TB

someone correct me, but i believe they are different sizes, and with that, you have to do "port matching" meaning you actually grind and bore out the metal so that the two are the same diameter, the TB and IM that is. I forget whether or not the h22 TB is the same shape, i mean location of the cable to it, and its sensor plugs, not to mention whether or not the IACV is the same or it takes the same coolant port sizes.

64mm for a 1.6L civic? damn, this aint for stock motors, hehe. Well, good to know that this is plug and play, just might bore out my y8IM and shove a H22 tb on it, hehe.

so as long as the bore of the manifold is bigger than the TB I'm good? And as far as you know, the sensors will be the same for everything?

BTW, thanks for the help everyone
