Default h22 I.D. ?

Im going to be purchasing a 99 h22 from a person that i know. I need to know how to identify the engine by markings and codes located on it, so i know it is what he says it is. Thanks

says the engine code just to the right of the tranny and a lil to the left of the exhaust manifold and has a huge DOHC VTEC on the bottom part of the valve cover, as well as the alternator cable goes across the valve cover AND alternator mounted next to the exhaust manifold

good luck man
