Hola peoples check out my project I have single handedly completed from start to finish, this bullshit about people saying the h22a is a hard swap can bow down and chomp on it, because it was easy as crap! and a whole **** load of fun from beginning to the end! and yes my hood is currently see through as it doesn't exist.





























Well thats it!, I cant wait to get insurance on the thing and figure out 2 CEL codes 73 "random misfire cyl4" most likely crappy gas 88 octante with some octane booster, has super in it now, and code 6 water temp sensor error... who knows, also I notice the oil light comes on slowly after about a minute of crusing around sorta weird since i know theres good oil in it... so who knows.. COMMENTS WELCOME!

i like the vacuume hoses and how you ran the fuel pump.. its clean, but i bet a pain in the *** to change.. also, you thinking about doing H2B? i am debating about either a b18 swap or doing an h2b swap. the price difference will determine my route.

fuel filter isnt too bad actually although how often do you service a fuel filter?

also it has a cleanable mesh inside that you can rinse out and re insert -- the filter should basicly last as long as the car exists.

also the fuel filter should have been located right on the fuel tank so thats hidden also...

**** its clean, in process of doing it right now, all do, ill swaping from this and have a Q for engine wiring, which one am i need, civc's si or prelude, sense my clip comes with auto transmition, do i need manual wiring, and for right now im going to go with h23 trany sense i have it.

sweet. if i ever own a honda and want to do a swap again the only motor i would think about would be an h22 (with b series tranny)

the h22 is just a sweet swap. that is a clean tuck on the lines and fuel. keep it clean.

very nice. I almost have my built turboed h22 swapped into my 93 dx hatch. Im running the older hasport mounts and DSS stage 5 axles. What axles are you running?

The brake lines simply went inside the cabin opposed to going in the engine bay

the whole system is stainless steel braid there is a porportioning valve about 6 inches left of the clutch inside.

the whole under skirt area is also all done up with new tubes and such, same areoquip blue tubing.

as for the clutch line you can see the photo where it goes to into the drivers side fender area, then you see it again next to the fuel lines, then once again it goes down inside the cabin, then where the passanger side like airbag detector is it goes inside that into the passanger side frame rail, goes inside the frame rail down to where the radiator is and comes out a oem hole i never welded up put a grommet in that and bam tucked clutch line.

as for your wiring russlan44 -- no idea rip it all off the h22, take your civic harness and swap/adapt lengthen, honostly its not that hard if you have a big work area and take a couple mins and mark what each connector is, it shouldnt take you that long..

I have no idea what extra sensors there are on a auto to manual transmission as i just worked with the 5 speed.

as for the battery mount I baught it nowhere i sat in the garage with a tape measure and a general idea and took the welder and started to peice together an idea and it turned out great, the mount was welded with flatbar, spray painted with rustoleam hammerd paint then put in the oven at around 190 degrees for 25 mins to super bake the paint on since it does take around 48 hours for that bulllshit to dry.. which is the same color the engine bay is.. spraypainted


as for the axels boots89 --- whatever hmomotors sells with there hasport mounts :??

anyway they are super good lookin axels...

please correct me if i am wrong but I thought with the motor mount kits the bolts where there to get the plates lined up and attached and then they where to be welded to the frame. At least that's what I have read else where when doing this swap. looks good.

i have a h22a1 swapped into my 92 hatch... I need to know what Top Radiator hose you used!!! i bought one that it said to buy in the How to but it just doesnt fit right and its all kinked looking.

That is a very clean swap.. like i said..i swapped my 92 hatch with my ol h22 engine/trans out of a prelude i had that i wrecked. Wish i could have done a nice job like you did. mine runs great but its not clean or have custom lines like yours. nice job dude

Good job so far man, looks a lot like my engine bay, except Im running a b-series not an H-series. I like the way you did the brake lines, using stainless lines. I used regular hard lines for mine and used a stock 40/40 prop valve for mine, ran the lines and prop to the inside of my firewall behind the dash. for crow harnesses! Been using mine for about 4 years now, they rock!
