anyone running this setup?...possible? pros and cons?

i heard that you could get imporved torque curves and vtec activation...

Whoever told you that should lay their hand out on a table and you should hit it with a hammer. So that they can associate pain with their stupidity.

Answer to your Question - NO, too much fuel and many other reasons. Get the appropriate ECU for your engine and if you want more power from it get a VAFC or Chipped ECU.
