h22 or b18
hey guys i really dont know what to swap into my 95 civic. h22 or b18. i have a b18 short block here but like the idea of gobbs of torque. how significant is the weight added with the h22? lets her your opinions

Well first, I'd say search.
Second, I'd say which b18?
Third, the work involved and you're funds will dictate this decision more than personal opinion (for most).
Fourth, I'd ask what your goals are?

Id go with the B18 tho. H22 is better use for straight line in a civic. Its gonna weigh more obviously and most likely youre gonna understeer a lot.

its a b18b i have now but need to pick up all accesories and transmission so i fgiure they isnt a huge differnece in price if i got a h22 swap. I am looking to get around 300whp.

Well now that it's been reiterated...
I'd say go with the H22... You build it and turbo it, 300 whp wouldn't be out of the question... It's a lot of work to get 300whp in a honda though.
