the b series trannies i think are geared better... but youll need an adapter plate to mate the b series tranny to the h series block tho...... i gotta friend that was looking to do the same swap but for some reason he couldn't find the right setup for his bb6... he said they only make the brackets and setup for the civic platforms....

I would say the gearing is about half of the reason to go H2B. The other half being the fact it's cable linkage. The cable linkage can get sloppy making shifting, especially at higher RPM's quite difficult. Also, with the b-series transmission, you don't have the axles in a bad position. I've been through at least half a dozen axles with mine. If I could do it over again, and could afford it, I'd go H2B. Regardless, if you can, get a transmission with an LSD. You won't regret it.
