Gutted+Turbo+Omni+Ohio Winter=?
Anyone have bad experiences with winter while being modded with
1. Turbo
2. Omni Full suspension(i would crank it up as high as it could go)
3. Gutted hatch
I ask because my winter beater just died, and i don't think i have enough cash to get another one before winter. Ohio winters usually last from Early Nov. through end of March. Let me know some experiences, good or bad.
THanks!

I would worry about the omnis rusting with all that salt (heard a few cases of them rusting) and driving in the snow would suck for traction as expected.

I drove all winter in my h22 EK on 13" all-seasons and I was fine. Never got stuck or anything. And I live in Ashtabula (directly north of you) where we get double the snow. You should be fine. Maybe a little cold with the gutted interior, but get some good tires and you're set.

i live up in canada, and this year i bought some good winter tires, i have springs, and it wasn't to bad, expect if there was snow on the ground. i only had 2 bad experiences, that was busting my exhaust on a snow boulder in the middle of the road, and salt eating away at my car
-my advive would be to raise your car as high as you can, get good tires, rust proof your car, and try and put some of that rust proofing **** on the threads of your coilovers so they dont rust, and seize on you.
