Look like it might be for a hatchback since the axle back portion of the muffler is so short. Not sure, but that what I think.

Ex is the same as si, but dx, lx, cx doesn't have a cat, so it doesnt bolt on the same.

in between the 2 pieces. i'm sure its for a hb. i'm thinking its the
EG because like what was said earlier in the thread. that EK: dx, cx hatches don't have their cat under the car like the EGs do. EK cats are right after the header and then from their is the down pipe all the way to the muffler. hope you get what i'm saying. i'm sure you can use it for the ek hatches but not with the factory header with cat. i have an EG with the n1 and it looks exactly like that. except your missing the b pipe.

its for a hatch back with the cat under the car, if you flip the axle back over it goes under the lca and only hatch backs go under the lca, i have the n1 on my ex and it goes up and over the lca

I had a very similar setup on my '97 hatch, with catalytic converter underneath, not in front, although I'm still running a D16 engine. I have 4-2-1 headers, EX cat, 2-piece mid section and CTR muffler.

Non the less, I doubt it's for an EK, just because when I was looking for a replacement muffler, I couldn't find a single one that goes underneath the LCA's, but I found a bunch of them for EG's.
