My civic hatch was 2080 pounds. I have a civic SI, stripped interior, no a/c, just a dash and two seats...and a ton of turbo stuff.
So im guessing around 1950-2050 for you.

1980 is what the scale says. the only thing i have left to take out is the sound deadening on the firewall, headliner (staying in) and donut.

My car weighed 2040lbs. with a full ITR engine/tranny swap and full Integra brakes, Koni sus (heavier) rear swaybar, and both bumper supports left in.
I also still have my stock ITR cast-iron Exhaust manifold, ITR flywheel, and airbag steering wheel (but all the airbag ECU and wioring has been removed) so I still have room for improvement.
1980lbs. isn't too far-fetched, but what is your set-up?
Rear discs? Bumpers in or out? Just curious.
I have removed all the tar (wasn't much in the CX anyways:hammer, firewall mat, headliner, carpet, all interior plastics, no radio, no speakers, really all that's left inside is a dash and 2 1997 Type D black GS-R seats in cloth.
I feel that removing the bumper supports is not a good idea. They are there for our protection, and if some dick crosses into my lane and I hit head-on I'd like at least SOME extra protection for my motor, and if I get rear-ended I'd like to try and keep my car still since it is not replaceable.
Set-up? Detailed I mean?

my setup is sorta like urs. C1 w/ ITR head, JE pistons, eagle rods, JUN 3 cams/gears, titanium retainers, valve springs, P72 w/VAFC (P28 chips in the mail), DC JDM header. i have 2 stock civic seats, headliner, front A pillar plastic, integra dash, GSR cluster, no fan or heater core, carpet intact (ugly), poly bushings, no bumper supports. if u want more details just ask.
