Re: Gude peformance head package (JRDbuilt)
I don't, it might be good but Id just like to say the people there are pieces of **** for stealing 500 worth of core parts from me.
From what I have heard its not worth the money.

I had one complete garbage and he scams you on the core charges always promising to send the money back but never does you can get the same effect from milling your head .60 to .80 and buying a zex cam and getting a cheap chipped ecu off of ebay for what he does as far as porting you can do that with a $35 dremel kit from Harbour Freight

Re: (Cole D)
That's good to know .....
are you talking about one of the cheap chips they have on ebay?
the main interest i had in the package was he has a race cam that is said to pull from 2k-8k and that was what got my interest.
thanks

Re: (Mista Bone)
If you go to http://www.mmrusa.com, they claim up to 58 whp. Of course this is for a modded (if you look at the base hp) '92 1.7 Integra. It is $1600 + core charge (which of course you get back if you send in your parts. Not a bad deal, but it won't give most people 58 whp.

Re: (Hella_JDM)
I am really glad i posted on here first. seems like gude products suck substantially. Im going to look into the MMR one but most likely might just put together my own package through my business.
i guess right now my biggest curiousity and question would be what would be the most aggressive cam that would have a very wide power band but be easy on the idle and valve train.
thanks

You just listed the absolute ideal cam, which doesn't exist.

Re: (sscguy)
sscguy, ya i agree. I want some more umph out of my street car. I thought I had found this with the cam that gude said would pull from 2k-8k and had a fair idle. I guess not now after hearing what pretty much 90% of people have to say about gude products.
I will do some searching and also search on D-series.org to see if i can find out something useable
thanks guys!

If you want that I suggest you get a cam focused on mid range power and a little bit of top end. That's the preferred route for a street car. Zex cams aka Comp Cams make great cams for hondas/acuras IMO.

really, my Crane 251-0012 on stock valetrain doing just fine.
Crane did the ramp right, run stock springs.
The 251-0016 has .425I/.416E lift, keeping stock springs........
No more SOHC VTEC here.........getting better results without it!

Re: (JRDbuilt)
degree?????
I installed it straight up.
Duration??????
Since none of the cam makers are using the same specs for the import cams, pretty much "usless" info........... V8 cams get spec'd at .050" valve lift.......
