gude non vtec cam
can any1 give me some specs on this cam, i have a d16y8 head in the basement, but i think it will be too big a pain in the *** to install, and i am thinking about just building up my d16y7, so if some1 can give me some details and a price i would appreciate it, or tell me if it is even worth it, thanks i appreciate it http://www.gude.com/Cams/cam_civic~crx.html

The details are right on the page with the Cam's details.
Just look for the cam you're interested in, and look at the specs; the descriptions are saying whether and when the cam is good for which applications.
For example:
85-87 HONDA CIVIC/CRX 1.5L SI SOHC
PART NO: CARBURATED: HCCS01 INJECTED: HCCS02
DESCRIPTION: Strong midrange and top end power.
POWER BAND 3500 RPM. to 7000 RPM.
IDLE: Good - Around 750 RPM.
SPECIFICATIONS: Intake LIFT - .443 DURATION - 242
Exhaust LIFT - .443 DURATION - 242
And there you have it...
Just look for the cam you're interested in, and look at the specs; the descriptions are saying whether and when the cam is good for which applications.

i understand that, im wondering about power gains and then need for new valve-train, and over-all the power difference in the car, and the price of the cam
