Guage cluster problem...HELP :(
I just got done painting my guage cluster bulbs amber, I placed them back in the back of the guage cluster and nothing happened. When I turned on my lights the cluster didn't light up and my climate control cluster didn't light up. Could I have blown a fuse??? Help PLEASE

Did you remember to plug the plugs back into the climate control? I know it sounds stupid but thats what I forgot to do...

I turned the car on and my lights on because it was getting dark anyways. When I turned the lights on the clock on my dash did't dim like it always does.

Also... I touched the back of the guage cluster alot... maby I shorted the cluster out but other than that, that is really all that I done.

No, Im positive of that... The one thing that I'm thinking is that when I carried it out to my car I must have gotten the "natural" oil off of my hands on the back of the cluster.

Correct....
as stated before, take a flash light and look at each fuse. If that little metalic wire is broken in half, the fuse is dead

I found out that the problem was just a fuse...but when I put the new fuse in (it was the same number) the fuse blew again. I guess one of the wires are showing and touching something else.

Then I know exactly what the problem is, because the same thing was happening to me. The instrument and climate control lights werent working, and the fuse for them kept blowing. A spare wire left over from the install is making contact with metal in youre dash. You need to take out youre climate control, locate the wire, and tape the hell out of it. Then replace the fuse and it will work.
Edit: It's usually orange. I can go do a write up with pics if need be.
