Default Guage Cluster Problem

I just bought an Ex guage cluster to put in my Dx and the water temp and the fuel guage seem broke the fuel guage floats all the way to the top to Full and the water temp is reading high. It has those white faces installed, and I didnt kno if when the faces were installed that the guages might have broke. I was just wondering if there was a fix for the problem. Thanks

calibration or possibly you have some "charges" that are sending them haywire.

probably took the needles off and put them back on wrong. You have to be extremely careful when removing needles ... and remember the state of the fuel and temp of the motor when doing so to put them back right, if you put them back at 0 they will float high. there is a routine to reset ... check in a service manual, don't let them float high, it could ruin gauges

yea, i think that's a busted EX cluster.

if u said there's white faces installed, the person doing it must have messed it up during the install.

If it was me and it was such an issue I wld take it to a shop and get an estimate to get it calibrated correctly or just buy another one.

I did the same thing with my dx. I put neon covers over mine about three years ago and decided to change them this year and when i put the new ones on it messed up my cooling gauge. Go to honda pay 118.00 and get the new gauge.
