GSR vs JDM B16
I have had like three GSR motors, 1 JDM h22a, 3 ls motors 1 built, and two b16's I ended up putting the JDM B16 in my EG6-s to keep the JDM appeal Which motor should have I put in your opinion? I really like my first vtec but I want more power thinking of getting another gsr block with my b16 head boosted? Any thoughts?

Re: (jerbear!)
only problem is it is built with srp 10:5.1 comp pistons on ls stock rods, block guard, billet crank girdle, arp head studs, gude port & polish head, bored throttle body, bullfrog cams, crower retainers, gsr oil pump, polished ls crank, etc.....
I want boost but I think that is too high compression for that.

yeah they may run 11.1 compression but you can only run 7 pounds before you blow the motor. its much better to have lower compression and boost more if you want more power.

well actually the couple guys I know that have done this are running strong after almost a year and a half.
Of course the starting with lower comp would be better but hella dog-ish just driving around without boosting. Well at least in my part of the woods...5000 ft elevation. lol.

I am building my turbo setup as we speak. Will run around 8 psi on stock 10:4.1 comp motor for now got everything but the turbo looking for a .57 or so t3/t4. once I get that I will boost for now the stock motor and look into building a block for later. I am looking for a rex to drop in that built b18a.
