Your picture isn't working, and I don't understand how a throttle cable can prevent the use of your sway bar, or do you mean strut bar?

you need an LS, B16a, or type rotor for your TB, its the thing where your cable connects. you will have to make a bracket for the throttle cable to attach to IM

ya.. strut bar..thanx for making that corection

also if any one can show me some pictures, or exaples of what people have done it would be helpful.. welding new brackets, extra..

there's no point to posting a picture, cause you can just look at any type R or b16, thats what you need.

you need the attachment from an LS/b16/type r , i also heard that the same one from a d series will work, but i've never tried it so...

i dont know the proper name for it, but its the goldish attachment that your throttle cable connects too, its held on by a bolt and has a spring under it, attach all of that, route your throttle cable the right way, and you'll be set.

i dont even see anywhere on your manifold to mount a cable bracket.....so you'll have to mock something up, i'm sure others have done it.

HPCO$T 12-27-2007 08:43 AM

did you use the new throttle cable bracket they included with the manifold?

hondaz6lx 12-27-2007 10:32 AM

get a integra type r throttle cable and throttle cable bracket and i bet it will fix your problem

i went brain dead reading all these answers, let me try. To fix this problem you need and itr (or equivalent.. ls, b16) tb pulley, throttle cable, and bracket (that bolts to the manifold top front).

i have the same manifold yet to be installed on my gsr, any comments on its performance?

I have the same manifold use the bracket that came with the manifold and a new throttle cable from a Teg

Re: GSR throttle body on AEBS intake.. janky throttle cable?? (daver)

daver.. out of all the bolt on that this engine has on it..this intake was the best $100 i spent.. i didnt have any dyno numbers done..but i noticed a huge impact on hp then stock .. also i bought this used so it didnt come with a bracket..

thanx guys for all the comments..ill just rob an LS at my work and see if i can get it to work..
