GSR Swap won't Start: No power to dizzy or starter.
Hey all. First I'd like to say that Honda-tech is awesome, I've been doing DIY projects on my honda for a year now and only now have had to actually ask a question because I couldn't find the answer searching. Now on to my problem.
Here's the facts:
-Car (1993 EG) had a running OBDII GSR swap when my friend bought it
-The car was hydrolocked, throwing a rod through the block.
-We just finished rebuilding the engine, and have everything back installed,
and plugged up (hopefully correctly)
-We've checked all of the relays, fuses, and grounds
-Everything seems to power on, but the starter and the ignition
-The ECU is throwing a CEL 15, Ignition output signal
-The engine turns over when the solenoid is jumped, but we don't get any spark
-I've checked the Blk/Ylw wire in the dizzy connector and it has no voltage when the ignition is in the "On" position
-I've also checked the voltage on the connector for the solenoid while my friend turns the key, nothing.
-We do have fuel
-The car has a Compustar 2WSSR Alarm system that I suspect is the culprit, but I have supposedly disabled the system using the remote and still no luck.
My game plan now is to try to splice out the alarm system, but I figured I would see what ya'll had to say before I started that long and tedious project. Any help would be appreciated.

did you unplug any connectors besides the ones that go to the sensors on the engine? Almost sounds like your cabin plug which is located on the driver side shock tower is unplugged

No, we only unplugged the sensor connectors, we didn't mess with the main plugs that are on either side of the engine bay. In hindsight it would have probably been easier to pull the entire thing harness and all.

If the alarm system turns out not to be the problem, check for an open in the Blk/Yel wire between the distributor and the ignition switch. Also check whether the rubber stopper that presses on the safety switch at the top of the clutch pedal is broken or has fallen out.

Yeah, Ron got it. There was a connector on the driver side that only had the power to the dizzy and ignition on it, and that was the one that both the wires got pulled out of. Go figure lol.
Thanks for the help, now if only we hadn't put the headgasket on upside down we would be driving around right now lol.
