GSR swap wiring trouble (56K Beware)
let me start out with i dont know **** about wiring so any help would be appreciated.
here is the prob. this o2 sensor
either plugs into here
or here
but i dont know where i tried the green plug and the cel still comes on. i replaced the o2 ontop of the header. still gettin a cel light. my question is where does this o2 plug into and where is the other o2 for the one that is left empty?
like i said any help would be appreciated cause i am gettin tired ot this DAMN orange light in my face
i put this on civichatchback.com but i thought u might recieve more replies here.

Re: GSR swap wiring trouble (@irborne)
Judging by the shortness of that wire coming off the harness I am going to say it goes to the back of the intake manifold. I think, but I am NOT sure, but that green plug down there is for your power steering....it appears to be on the steering rack, but I could also be looking at the picture wrong. And by the way, i dont think that connector is for an O2 sensor at all...O2 sensors usually are 4pin square connectors.

So the only cel your getting is for the o2 ??? Or are you throwing more than one code. The top pic looks to be the iac. The bottom I don't know the pic isn't that clear. if this is under the intake man. it could be oil pressure, knock sensor, or thermo switch. What year engine What harness are you using ?

That top plug, the white one is a Air Temp Sensor, the green plug is some weird p/s plug i think.
But yeah, what wiring harness, and what codes?

Re: GSR swap wiring trouble (Plan B)
thanx for the replies. well i dont exactly know what harness im using cause i didnt install the engine. i thought i was using the stock harness. is this wrong? and i am throwing code 1. but i already replaced the o2 on top of the header and the cel is still coming on.
oh and i am also running the p2t ecu (which im pretty sure is the 99-00 si) could this be a factor in the cel?

Re: GSR swap wiring trouble (BlVlW313)
first thing u should do is find out what code it is throwing.
2nd thing, that plug isnt for your 02 sensor.
if you are using a p2t ecu and only have 1 o2 sensor, that would be the problem. that is an obd-II ecu and requires 2 o2 sensors otherwise it'll throw a code.
i just took a look at my car, and i have the exact same harness and the exact same plug off my intake manifold (in picture #2), both unplugged, and my car is running fine with no cels. that plug isnt your 02 sensor harness. the one off your intake manifold in picture #2 has something to do with gsr IAB's....i think .
