if the gsr is complete with the original wire harness, you can drop it in and use a obd1 ecu. then you have to wire up up the knock sensor and iab.

Keep the GS-R engine harness and it will plug right in - an OBD2 Civic harness won't work at all.
If you keep your 93 Civic harness you'll have to reiwre the distributor to a two-plug type, replug the injectors or run your Civic ones, find an OBD1 alternator or swap out the voltage regulator from the OBD2 unit with your Civic's one. It sucks, but it's not impossible.
Just like the guy said earlier - wire up the knock sensor, but hell if you run a programmed P28 you won't even need that either.
No a D16Z6 doesn't have a knock sensor, nor does the stock P28 ECU for it even look for it.

the OP is asking if he can use an OBD2 civic ex harness and NO you can not. OBD2 civic harness's are one piece while your 93 civic is a two piece. you're going to want to use the original harness off the gsr to make this work.

I'm not trying to be an ***, but he clearly stated in the first post that he already has a Skunk manifold, and doesn't need anything IAB related.
