gsr swap
Hey guys, need some help on my first swap.
Im taking a built gsr motor (cams, pistons, 440cc injectors, tuned on neptune and converted from OBDII to OBDI) from a 96 Integra, into a 94 Civic EX. My questions are..
1. Will the engine sub harness swap into the main harness for 94 civic ex? or do i need to modify the harness at all?
2. will the gsr axles fit the civic?
3. what shift linkage do i use? gsr or civic?
any help is appreciated, thanks!

This I'm not 100% sure about either, but I think so. The OBD1 plugs in at the shock tower, and I think the OBD2 does too. I know you CAN'T use the gsr engine harness on a 96-00 swap, but almost certain you can in a 92-95. If you already have an EX, you shouldn't have to worry about wiring in vtec, but you do have to add IABs if you're using the stock gsr intake manifold.
2. will the gsr axles fit the civic?
Yes, but so will 99-00 Si. When I bought my axles, the Si was cheaper even though they're pretty much identical, so that's what I got.
3. what shift linkage do i use? gsr or civic?
GSR. You can usually keep the civic shifter though if you have one you like. I'm using the same B&M dual bend on my GSR that I had on my y8.
