Default GSR smoking...

i have a 92 hatch with a gsr swap.... car has a stock p72 ecu....

whenever im "on it" in vtec, it will smoke black and maybe a little hint of blue....but barely. the motor does not have that many miles on it and everyone tells me "its just how vtec is"....but i dont think acura made a gsr smoke like this from the factory.....

it has no cat, no resonator, just free exhaust with a hollowed out apexi world sports muffler.... so that might be contributing....the car runs awesome and has great power...just smokes. i was also told by a couple people its the PCV box on the back of the block under the intake manifold....they told me to replace it and it wouldnt smoke much anymore...

any advice?

How many miles?

You're probably running a hair rich and burning a tad of oil.

i was told there was only about 90k on the motor....but i cant be positive... ill say around 100k to be safe.

i was thinking it may be rich, but how can it be if im running bone stock ecu and fuel pressure. i know the timing is advanced...but thats about it.

try a basic tune up. plugs, wires, o2 sensors, etc.
