i spoke to someone who had the gsr shifter in a civic. however i forgot to ask what modifications it needed for it to fit or even if it was a direct fit onto a D series shift linkage.

anyone know? i searched but just came up with buysell parts

gsr shifter is wider where it bolts to the linkage.. so you're going to have to bend the tab where it bolts to..

is there going to be any other differences? i know the civic shifter single bend is bent towards the rear of the car.

the gsr shifter is a dual bend which would probably point this towards the front alot more... i just wanna make sure before wasting an hour trying it out

You have to bend the fork at the end of the linkage out as stated earlier. The B-series shifters are about 40% wider than the EG short shifters. I ran one on mine for a long time, it really wasn't worth it. I ended up getting a regular short shifter and everything worked fine after that
