Default GSR seat help

I am doing a 2000GSR cloth to 1997 EX seat swap.
I was going to just swap the inside rail only but notice the metal wire (release cable) location is different from GSR to Civic.

The pic below is the GSR seat where the release cable is near the bottom

The pic below is the EK seat where the cable is near to top.

Most people told me to just swap the seat belt side rail.
Now how is this possible now that the civic wire is on top while the gsr wire is near bottom?

By the way, how do you remove the side adjustment ***** on the GSR driver's seat?

Please advise.

yes it shuold be straight bolt in and if it isnt then you should just have to bend one of the bolt tabs a little to get the bolt through. you are making it out to be a bigger project then it really is.

Just bolt them in, 3 of the 4 bolts will line up.

No problem I got it.
There are 2 clips that lock them in place.
Thanks.
