Was installing new header and saw my new cat is melting a bit. Checked spark plugs and they are also black, but I don't notice any black smoke. Would a tuneup fix this? Or are there other components I can check? There's no cel and I've installed only ram intake, skunk IM, and 2.5" exhaust.
Thx

check spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and spark plug wires.. you can either change all 3 or check to see if they need to be replaced.. after that check ignition timing as well.. make sure your running 16 degrees btdc.. other stuff to check is like oil level and ecu.. stock ecu unless its tuned for the application
