GSR rebuild with LS Crank, shya.....t
I'm planning on rebuilding my B18C1 block using a crankshaft from an Integra LS block. Since I believe it will give the engine more power+torque. Can anyone tell me what will I need to do to make this work?
What parts will I need?
Do I need custom parts?
What type of machining services might I need?
How much $$$ will I be looking at?(on a sort-of tight budget)
Below are a list of parts I'm planning to use for the rebuild.
-LS Crankshaft
-CTR Pistons and rings
-Cylinders rebored to 81.25 MM
-Repair motor mount and rear axle mount threads(the person that I bought the GSR from didn't use the correct bolts which were too short and ruined the threads).
Any information contributed will be greatly appreciated.
