Default GSR rear sway on my ek

I have a 97 civic ex. The guy is selling a GSR rear swaybar with the endlinks. What else do i need to put it on, and from what car? Will I be able to use the gsr endlinks? Also do my stock rear lca's accept the bar? Will I have to do modifications for it to clear my stock exhaust?

your stock lca's will work fine if they have the hole already in them from the factory. I had to drill out my passenger side LCA to install my sway bar for some reason, but the driver side did not have to be drilled. You will need a beaks kit and probably the 99-00 si endlinks

I've seen hatchbcks have holes for the endlink already, I am sure your EX does too. Just look underneath the rear of your car and look for the hole.

I read somewhere that the guy had to modify some parts to clear his exhaust, case that bar would have went straight through it.... is that true

If stock exhausts were bent similarly (between GSR/Si), and the sway bars designed similarly (between GSR/Si), you shouldn't have problems with OEM parts on your car.
