gsr rear sway bar fitment issue(pics inside)
ok so i got a 2000 gsr rear sway bar(14mm) and im just test fitting it untill i get all my sway bar bushings in the mail.
it came with a bracket but it is curved and it will not fit because the EK rear sub frame is flat
i then removed the bracket and tried to bolt it straight to the sub frame but again nothing lines up.
you can see in this pic that i would have to redrill the bottom hole for it to fit
in this pic i have the bracket the whole way over trying to get it to light up but it still would not. if i slid it over any more it would be on the bend and would not set flat
even if those holes did line up the sway bar endlink does not line up at all.
*i do know i can slide up but i pull the sway bar down to show you how far to the right the sway bar endlink it compared to the whole.
*do i need to order brackets and endlinks for an civic si or what do i need to order for the car to make this work?? \

i know when i was looking for a good sway bar setup i saw that the si was 13mm and the newer gsr was 14mm

cool. i just priced it and i was suprised that endlinks will be 60bucks each. wow i got that sway bar for 34bucks hahaha.

here is the size diffrence of the EX front sway bar(22mm) and the gsr rear(14mm) wow what a size diffrence. if i got a itr which is 22-23mm i dont think the car would handle right having the same size sway bars front and back.

ok so i got all my bushings, new hard ware but something does not seem right.
*when trying to put the blox endlinks threw the rear bushing it would not fit so i removed the metal tube and now its just a bushing.
*so i google a whole bunch of random things like gsr sway bar, gsr endlinks and lots more and found this pic that shows the same problam just with a itr rear bar and you can see the bushing pull out
*now at the end of that thread he said he got the ASR solid sway bar stabillizers that fix that problam,
*i then tried to find them but with no luck, i seen that they come in the kits but not sure if they sell them seperate from the kit
can anyone help me find these

I'd suggest against the Blox LCAs and those funny looking end links. The LCAs have poor quality bushings and I started getting the popcorn popping sound after about 3000 miles, and yes, I clocked my bushings and I don't drive that aggressively too often. Integra LCAs with poly bushings would be cheaper and more durable, or get Skunk2s or something.
The end links may work ok if you add a pair of washers on the plastic bushing on the swaybar, get the ASR stainless bushings, or you just like looking at funny looking stuff. And after around 4k miles it looked like the shaft was starting to pull out of the circular ends. OEM or the heim joint style end links are a better style in my opinion.

im using the stock lca's.
:meoshe. im just going to put it on without that metal sleeve, im trusting you since you have the same setup and you pretty much helped me every step of the way. thank you.

Im running a similar setup as you. The only diffrence is that i got my gsr rear sway bar from a civic ex at the junkyard. I didnt know the gsr bracket and the si bracket were diffrent because my sway bar bolted right on. I got my whole set up for $35.
