Has anyone tried to put rear leather GSR seats into a 6th gen Civic (LX, 4dr)? I hear it can be done, but I don't know how much modifying (if any) is involved. I did a search, but didn't seem to pull up anything. Any help, or a nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

was it hard to do? did it take lots of cutting/drilling/welding? Did anything need to be relocated? Thanks!!!!

the bench fit with only some minor spaces on each side



the back rest though did take some cutting but nothing you can't do yourself. all you need to do is swap the skins, meaning cut the exterior rings that hold the cloth or leather coverings on the frame and switch them. that way it will insure a perfect fit.

I want to know if they will fit as well. I think the 4 door and 2 doors back seats are the same size. im not sure

2 door and 4 door rear gsr seats are not the same. the 4 door bench doesn't have a middle tray like in the pic above and i believe the 4 door back rest is a little fatter in the head rest area.

Hmmm, It looks like the rear GSR seats are broken with a 50/50 split. The rear seats in my car are closer to a 35/65 split. I don't think changing the skins will work in my application.

Has anyone tried to install GSR seats and deal with relocating the pivot brackets, locking hooks, and the rest to get to the 50/50 split?

Oh - "Gothic Tuner" - yeah, we are rare, but just as dedicated as the rest (at least i'm assuming, i'm really the only one I know personally). I'm personally all about doing my own work, from the engine swap to bolt ons, etc etc. I am planning on building out the engine top and bottom end, but that is the only thing I'm not sure if I'll try. Oh, and naturally my car is black, just expect different music to be pounding the speakers - VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berserk, Wumpskut, L'ame Immortalles, Wolfshiem, etc.
