Re: GSR in my EK not responding correctly
No worries, do you know when the last time it had a tune up was? And if so, what was replaced?
Are you familiar with ignition timing and mechanical timing?
Do you know how to remove the spark plugs?
I'm asking because these are the easiest things to check without necessarily being a car guy (sorta). Also, without any check engine light (CEL) codes we are really guessing at what might have happened. Do you recall anything significant happening before you noticed the condition developed?
The ECU should be located in the passenger side foot area just behind the door, can you look and see if you can find the label on the ECU itself? It will be able to tell us what ECU you have.

Hah you asked about the check engine light earlier. Well at least now we're onto something.
To the original poster (OP): If you ever get a check engine light that's your ECU trying to tell you something is wrong.

cel= Check Engine Light
you seem a little lost about your car so take it to a mechanic, cause if you think a tune up is an oil change then the faq is just going to hurt your brain.
