You need GS-R rods with the GS-R crank. GS-R crank + B18B rods = nope.

Don't know if you can bolt a B18B head to a GS-R block, that's an odd combo.

thats what i have laying around...

also i have a 99 itr block bored to a 2.0 with brand new itr crank new itr rods and i want to get some pistons but the bore is a 84mm where can i get a set of 84mm pistons with the stock itr c/p ?

the c/p ratio is 12.27:1 will i be okay with that c/p should i use a blockguard?

so mcvtec i have my itr block at the machine shop its gona be a 2.0 type r block will i be able to use my itr head on my itr block after i tap it for vtec for the ls block? will i have to untap it?
