GSR intake doesnt fit!! advice please!
Hi im in the uk and have recently built a high comp b18c4 which is found in a civic vti over here. It SHOULD be exactly the same as your US B18c1 integra gsr engine. Mine has a p72 head with the dual runner intake which I want to get rid of cus it sucks big time.
So anyway I bought a skunk2 gsr intake from a guy in the states only to find it doesnt fit grrrr, but before hurling abuse I found out he hasnt ripped me off cus i aslo bought a gsr gasket which fits the intake but NOT my head.
I have looked into it alot of the top places sell these manifolds suitable for b18c1 AND b18c4 application under the same part number.
All the bottom holes line up perfect but the top ones are all off by around 5-10 mm. pic attached. Any advice from people who have come across these varying stud patterns would be much appreciated, if it comes to it ill drill the dam thing cus i wont be able to sell it here by the looks of things...

If he had a different head on his GSR it wont fit. The R's, LS, and b16 wont fit the p72 head. Im sure you already knew that but its possible the guy didn't know what he had.

Re: GSR intake doesnt fit!! advice please!
yea just checked it out and theres no way i can drill it as the hole for the coolant is way way lower than on the mani. like I said though I bought a gasket set for a gsr and the intake gasket fits the manifold perfectly which is makin me think that the head iv got is just weird, im gona line up my b16 intake with it i know its a long shot but worth a try, So my question now is does anyone know of there being more than 2 different stud patterns?

Well, are you sure YOU have a p72 head?
When I went to go get an IM gasket for mine they accidentally gave me the wrong one which COULD be your problem. Gave you the wrong gasket that coincidentally matched the IM and not your head. I still wouldn't rule out that he gave you the wrong IM.
Did you ever try giving S2 a call?
