Will a GSR header fit on a b16 head?

edit: Also, does anyone know about the quality of the older RS-R headers? The site i'm lookin at says its a 2" collector... Anyone know if this is true? How are the welds?

Yes, it will fit. I have the 98 spec GSR 4-1 DC header on by B16

But I cannot say with 100% certainty that it won't fit.

it'll bolt on the head perfectly but it will either be shorter or longer connecting to your cat. trust me, i've done it.

from what i've heard/read it will bold up, the exhaust side of the 2 heads are the same....The gsr header will be a bit lower because it is meant to clear the GSR oil pan which hangs lower than the b16, and also it may be a bit longer which would require a new cat.

You are right in some aspect b16 hearder is not direct bolt on to the b18 but it can be made to fit and has been done before here on h-t
