I would get the GSR stuff if it isn't bent/etc.

5lug is nice but unless you're actually racing and need the wider track and beefier hubs, there aren't too many compelling reasons to go that route. Looks cool, though.

best way to detach the GS-R stuff is take off the 2 17mm bolts that attach the upper front controll arm thru the shock tower, undo the lower ball joint, the steering ball joint, take the axle out of the hub and detach the brake lines. You don't need the front LCAs.

hey buddy if don't want the gsr stuff, i'll buy it off you for like 300. $100 profit just by taking it off the GS-R :D

5-lug is nice, but for $200, I say get the gsr setup. However as others have said, make sure that it isn't bent.

you need ALL of the GSR parts even for the front. I think the pillar is different for the gsr also.

No you dont.

I do have all GSR components on mine, but you can take just the front knuckle piece that attaches at three points and the axle.

I say do it. Its only like an hour to take it all off. I drove a state to get it for more than that. I say go for it.

good call. if you ever decide to sell it, you can get much more than what you paid. rims are cheaper and there's much more variety for four lug, there are more options for brake and rotor upgrades. etc..

while your at it put in stronger studs! maybe extended but just not skunk2 ive heard bad things bout them...

Good call on not getting the 5lug...i think youll regret it later....money for the "oooh hes got 5lug conv." factor is wasted money IMHO
BE SMART and BUY smart...you can upgrade your gsr brakes to be quite beafy and outperform the 5lug

no, the best way to do it is with a slide hammer. you cant just hammer it out because there is not enough room. get a slide hammer that attaches to your studs with the lugs and bang that biotch out, it should only take a couple trys.
