Default gsr front brake on ek dx hatch -confused.. please help

after reading the ek brake chart im still little confused on the whole matter. after searching i still cannot find the answer i need.. if someone point me to the correct thread or supply me with an answer that would be greatly appreciated..

im planning to run gsr brake on my ek dx hatch.. i was wondering what do i need to reuse my dx brake setup and what will i need to rip off the gsr to make this whole project work. please help.

1) what part of the my civic dx hatch will i need to keep?

2) what will i need to remove from the gsr?

thanks in advance.

You need to whole front knuckle assemblies without the upper control arm. Reuse your upper control arms. Basically everything you see in the picture below...

Front brake lines arn't required.
Rear Brake lines are.
You need the bigger prop valve.
And its recommended you the master cylinder too.
Arn't si and integra master cylinders the same though?

1. Get brake lines for his setup (Integra)
2. Of course, if he does a rear disc conversion.
3. No, he doesn't. The hatch prop valve is the same as the Si.
4. It is recommended to get a larger master cylinder if upgrading the fronts.
5. Si is 7/8", while the 98-01 ABS Integras (which is plug and play) are 1".

^ That's what I have. Works great. Actually I switched to civic ex/si front calipers. They have a little smaller piston than the integras. It feels a little better but the integra calipers will deff. work.

The knuckles are the same, except that Integras have ABS components (which you will NOT need to worry about). Either will work.
