yes theyre the same...I can say that 1000 times and no one ever cares.

if you have anything other than an ex (Im asuming eg, from your avatar) you'll need ex knuckles, rotors for ex/integra, and the front calipers.
thats it...an integra mc/bb is recommended.

its straight bolt on

you couldve found this info by searching

like I said
ALL integra brakes are the same, so the knuckles are also identical.

you can use integra knuckles, over ex, if you want, but they are taller and will throw off the camber

I thought the front brakes were the same size on coupes as tegs? Or is that only the EX?

si hatches have the same brakes as dx.
(ex 92-00 and si 99-00 have 10.4" = same as integra)

Only ABS civic has the same size calipers as integras

(again, how many times do I have to say it?? look at the link in my signature)

the rotors are the same if you have the 10.2ish, but the calipers on civics are smaller then integras.

Heres the brake thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=152884

a gsr brake booster bolts in but the MC doesnt. the lines are in different locations, at least on a 95 cx.

straight bolt on dont have the swap the brake lines out.
just need the knuckle really nothing else. unless you want to do the sway bar and stuff.
you can use a integra rs brake booster wich is a 15/16 and bolts right in.
or the older jdm type r brake boosters.

I don't know what anyone else is talking about because they've turned this thread into a confusing mess of misinformation and irrelevent garbage, but I do know all about Civic/Integra brake systems and I can answer your questions.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Jdm93civic &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Can anyone tell me what is exactly needed for the front GSr brake conversion...

For the front brakes:

To do it properly on an EJ2 ('92-95 Civic DX coupe), which is what I assume you have, you will need the Integra knuckles and everything attached to them (including calipers, caliper brackets, hubs, lines, and dust shields). Get the proportioning valve from the Integra.

To improve pedal feel, you may also want to get the master cylinder and booster from the Integra - but be aware that you will have to mess with lines if you use these (I believe one line has to be bent and reflared). Another option is to buy a '90-91 Civic EX 4dr. master cylinder, which will bolt right up to your existing Civic booster and work with your Civic lines as-is.

Buy new rotors and pads, especially if the Integra was sitting in a junkyard for a while. Do not buy garbage slotted or drilled (or both) rotors, just buy regular blank rotors. Buy pads that suit your needs (i.e. if you drive on the street, do not buy race pads unless you have a death wish). Buy a container of either DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid, because you'll be bleeding the system (do not spill it on your paint). You will need a flare nut wrench to install the master cylinder.

You may need to have new ball joints pressed in as well if you mess them up during removal.

That's about all I can think of for now.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">people tell me GSR and LS brakes are the same is that true&gt; </TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes, they are exactly the same. All '94-01 Integras (except Type-R) use the same brakes. This includes RS, LS, SE, GS, and GSR.

Slightly wrong - 92-93 Civics had 9.5" brakes - 94-95 (when ABS was an option) had 10.2" (10.4?) brakes, how do I know, have a 93 Civic Si - factory 9.5" brakes went bye bye about two years ago....

I used the stock CX rubber brake lines from my front integra brakes, but they're not bolted to the shock body (AGX's dont have provisions for them).

gsr brake lines are identical to the civic ones i checked when i was doing mines and kicked myself in the *** for wasting so much time trying to get the gsr brake lines in when they were identical. the civic ones fit better for some reason.
but is cool to use newer lines wont hurt.
