i think it will work on d series tranny too.i have heard some people use oem gsr dual bend shifter as a short shifter for their d series tranny.the reason i like oem or after market dual bend shifter is ,it makes the shifter more towards to driver.i am 6" and i drive with the seat pushed all the way to the rear and i had to extend my arm all the way to the oem d series shifter, but with dual bend shifter, it makes my arm more comfortable

I had the GSR shifter with my stock D series
- you have to bend the shifter linkage. (b series is wider)
I then swapped in a b18.. and then upgrade to the Skunk2 dual bend
-The Skunk2 dual bend, sits almost identical to the GSR, but has "shorter throw" to shift your gears.
I don't regret the upgrade whatso ever,

How much did you have to bend it? was it to line it up?

my car was on stands.. in my garage. and I was not expecting this.
it was late in the night too, and I remember being pist.
I just bent it a tad, and then used the drill a to bored out/align the shifter linkage with the opening in the gsr shifter.
you'll understand once you're at that step. not hard to do at all.

that was to put the GSR (B series) with my D series shifter linkage.
THe skunk2 should have NO issues going on a D or a B
