Default Gsr dizzy cap leaking oil

what would cause the dizzy cap to leak oil?

double check the larger o ring that is on the other end of the dizzy, it may need replacing

I agree with the above. Also, see if you can clean it off so you can pin point the oil leak.

Check to see if you have oil inside the dist. housing under the cap. It may be the shaft seal leaking.

it had a o ring on it and it look fine but i just bought a new one and put in on. will see later today when i drive it and see if there still oil leaking from the cap. ill will check the shaft seal if it still leaking..thanks

yea i check today and it still leaking even replacing the o-ring. so i guess it the shaft seal... you know where i can buy one at?

If there is oil inside the distributor, then the internal seal is bad, as was already mentioned^.

You may be able to find one at a local parts store. I changed mine a couple years ago. I just googled it and found a couple online companies selling. I don't remember off hand who I ordered from but it was like $9 plus shipping.
